2013 NASH Cup – Wednesday Match Schedule
Some spectacular squash last night and, in the WSA draw, some big upsets. This includes the early removal of #3 seed Carrie Ramsey of England (world rank 61) by Canada’s Nikki Todd (world rank 131) and a win by local Allyssa Mehta over Alix Younger (CAN; 121). Allyssa and Nikki will now face each other in the Quarter Finals (8pm tonight; court 2)
Tonight’s matches start at 4pm featuring 8 PSA (men’s main draw) and 4 WSA (quarter finals) matches. Crowds so far this week have been larger than past years. With tickets sold out Thursday through Saturday it’s going to be a crowded club from here forward.
There are an unusual number of matches tonight where players from the same country will be facing off. The WSA Semi-Final is guaranteed to have one Canadian in each match as two off tonight’s games feature an all Canadian field. In the PSA there are four matches where players from the same country will be facing off, resulting in at least two Canadians and two English advancing to the Quarter Finals.
